While incarcerated I learned that the system is built to fail!! There are ppl dieing everyday in Florida Department of Corrections. Ppl who should've made it home...should've seen there child graduate, should've walked there daughter down the isle. Florida is the only state that still under the 85%. Why is that? Does anyone know? Bc they get some where around 165.00 a day per inmate. Which they only use about 1/4 of that money. These are things I know. The works get bonuses if they meet a certain quota an save money. Which in turn they have BBQ's for the staff out of the money pervided to them for inmate. Which is embezzlement if I'm not mistaking. So they are using inmates like other ppl use wic and food assistance programs. This has to stop!!!  Laws are laws no matter who you are. Please sign this petition if you have family in Florida Department of Corrections!!!
