#CONDUCT CLASS 12 BOARD EXAMS

Be fair to students who have worked hard throughout the year. Further postponement is tolerable, but cancellation is outrageous. The implication of cancellation on college admissions and future career prospects is awful and unacceptable. Even online exams would be a better alternative. Please, don't play with our careers and future, and CONDUCT CLASS 12 BOARD EXAMS.

As per our current education system, the only dream for a middle class student from a low income family is to get good marks and secure admission in a government operated university/college. If the exams do not take place, private universities will have the edge to exploit those students on the basis of their fees and admission criterias.

Or what about those students who have worked hard consistently despite the family circumstances, or despite the hardships and difficulties they've had to face this year? What about those students who have continued to study and prepare, and have dedicatedly worked hard to get a good result with online classes, and even on their own?

Cancellation is now disguised as an excuse for students who have not studied throughout the year and are willing to gamble on their future. Students are expressing concerns about their safety and sanitization while conducting board exams, and some of those are also the ones who are constantly neglecting the COVID-19 precautions. The safety of students is in their own hands and precautions must be taken at all ends.

And for the students supporting entrance exams and cancellation- even entrances of half of the universities would be conducted offline. Entrance exams aren't covid proof. Of course, online entrance exams would support cheating and everybody would get in without any actual validity of marks.

Supporting cancellation of boards is a decision which students would regret in the future. So many career opportunities would be gone, just because there is no validity of marks awarded. We don't want to be labelled as an 'all pass' batch or a 'no final exam batch'. 

The 3 hour pattern of 80 marks should be followed for the exam, as students are unfamiliar with the 90 minute objective type pattern. We have studied the whole year on the basis of the 3 hour pattern and students would be better prepared to give the exam on this pattern, rather than the objective one. 

PLEASE, DO CONDUCT BOARD EXAMS FOR CLASS 12, WITH UTMOST SAFETY AND SANITIZATION- BY FURTHER INCREASING THE NUMBER OF CENTRES, OR EVEN GOING FOR HOME CENTRE EXAMS (OWN SCHOOL).
