Many of our local citizens have been waiting to weigh in on the CVS application before the Hopewell Twp. Zoning Board. Well, your day is coming! The public session where public comment is allowed will be held on Tuesday, December 6th @ 6:30 pm. The session will open with the cross examination of CVS's planner by opposing attorney, Jeff Barron. This will likely take up the first hour and the balance of the time (3 + hours) will be designated for our public comment session. To be clear, The Zoning Board will not be making any decisions that night. We will reconvene on Wednesday, December 14th @ 6 pm for our final hearing. The hearing will open with testimony from the planner who represents a group of the opposers. Two quick unrelated docket items will be heard after that and the the balance of the session will be focused on closing out the CVS application completely. PS At the 11/29 Zoning Board meeting, it was revealed that the county may deem it necessary to widen Ingleside Avenue, if CVS is built and the traffic light is replaced.
