Subject: Complaint Against Racist Comments on Bigg Boss Malayalam

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of grave concern regarding the television show "Bigg Boss Malayalam" aired on Asianet, specifically regarding the conduct of one of its contestants, Jasmin Jaffer, and the apparent inaction by the show's management and the broadcasting channel in addressing her racist remarks towards another contestant named Jinto.

It has come to my notice that Jasmin Jaffer, a contestant on the show, has repeatedly made racist comments against Jinto based solely on his skin color. These derogatory remarks not only violate the principles of human decency and respect but also contravene the laws of our country, which strictly prohibit any form of racial discrimination or harassment.

What is particularly distressing is the lack of prompt and effective action by the Bigg Boss team or the channel, Asianet, in addressing this issue. By failing to reprimand Jasmin Jaffer for her discriminatory behavior, they are not only condoning racism but also perpetuating a culture of intolerance and prejudice.

Furthermore, I wish to highlight the involvement of Mr. Mohanlal, the esteemed anchor of the show, who holds a designated position as Lieutenant Colonel (Honorary) in the Indian Army. Given his stature and the values associated with the armed forces, it is imperative that such matters are taken seriously and addressed with utmost urgency.

I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that the Kerala High Court has already intervened in matters related to the content of the show and has directed the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to investigate other incidents as well. This underscores the seriousness of the situation and the urgent need for intervention from the concerned authorities.

In light of the above, I urge the Human Rights Commission of India and the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to launch a thorough investigation into the racist comments made on Bigg Boss Malayalam and take appropriate action against those responsible. It is essential to send a clear message that racism and discrimination have no place in our society, and those who perpetrate such acts will be held accountable for their actions.

I hope for your swift and decisive action in this matter to uphold the principles of justice, equality, and human rights in our country.

Thank you for your attention to this important issue.

Yours sincerely,

Kannan
