Your action in supporting this campaign means so much, and I am grateful and overwhelmed by your support! With your support, I hope the Government starts to pay attention too.

In this short video clip of conversations with some of these black WWII veterans you hear one say it beautifully around 5:05:

“You couldn’t say ‘he’s better than me’ or ‘I’m better than you’. [We were] All the same.”

How sad then, that our Government could not see things the same way, not just then, but even now with the abandonment of any compensation plan.

This is a horrible decision that is taken in our collective names, so I hope we can persuade our government to think again.
