Commute Brian Stanton's Federal Prison Sentence to 15 Years

Commute Brian Stanton's Federal Prison Sentence to 15 Years
The Issue
Brian Stanton has been a beacon of hope and positivity for his family and loved ones. Growing up, he was always by his family’s side, offering advice and support in both personal and professional matters. Despite being incarcerated for 15 years, his influence persists - a testament to his character and resilience.
Brian never really had good odds as he was shown the wrong way of life by his father. He has now opened his eyes and knows the right path to take moving forward. He understands the mistakes that have been made and would love the opportunity to be a positive influence in his community. He talks to his family as much as possible and is trying to guide us in the right path.
But it isn't just his resilience that stands out. Brian is currently serving a prison sentence set to end in 2061, derived from non-violent crimes. During his incarceration, he has actively pursued education and contributes positively to the prison community.
Additionally, Brian's mother, Carla, suffers from Arachnoiditis, a debilitating disease that severely limits her ability to function like she used to. His early release would enable him to provide necessary support for his ailing mother. It's estimated that over 2.8 million people worldwide live with similar debilitating diseases and understand the everyday hardship of limited functionality (World Health Organization).
We believe that Brian's deep commitment to bettering himself and aiding his community, both inside and outside of prison, reflects the principles of sentence commutation. We seek justice for Brian in the form of a revised sentence. Commute Brian Stanton's federal prison sentence to 15 years to support rehabilitation, maintain family ties, and uphold human rights. Please sign this petition to give Brian another chance.
