Volunteers Needed for NO on UVW Demonstrations

Volunteers are organizing NO on UVW demonstrations on Saturdays throughout October at four different locations across the City of Banning.

Help us STOP the nearly 5 Million sqft of Mega-Warehouses at Sunset Crossroads. 

Will you demonstrate and get the word out to vote "NO" on Warehouse Measures U, V and W? 

Demonstration Dates:

  Saturday, October 3
  Saturday, October 10
  Saturday, October 17
  Saturday, October 24

 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  4 Locations: Each will occupy two corners of each street

• Highland Springs and Ramsey in front of Walgreen and in front of Burger King;
• Sunset and Ramsey in front of Sunset Liquor and in front of Blue tile roof building
• 22nd and Ramsey in front of 4 Liquor and  in front of Shell Food Mart
• 8th street and Ramsey in front of Jack in the Box and in front of the two story red roof building
   

No Experience Necessary!

You don’t need any special experience to participate. Volunteers will be holding signs, and getting information out to the community.

Signs can be provided, or you are welcome to bring your own.

If you need to sit while you’re participating, feel free to bring a chair. And please also bring hats, sunscreen, & water.

You can volunteer for one Saturday or multiple Saturdays. Every volunteer makes a difference to stop the warehouses!
