Right now in Houma, Louisiana, there is:

✅  A shelter for men                                           ✅  A shelter for women and children

NOTHING for single women with no children

If you are a woman alone with no children and you have nowhere to sleep tonight — you are on your own in this community.

MoMo's House is going to fix that.

MoMo's House will be the first emergency shelter in the Houma area just for single adult women with no children. We will provide:

😊A safe place to sleep (10 beds)
😊Meals and showers
😊Job readiness support
😊Connections to programs that help women rebuild their lives
😊Up to 90 days to get back on their feet
This gap has existed too long. It ends with MoMo's House.
