Commitment from British Government to evacuate UK citizens from Sudan

Commitment from British Government to evacuate UK citizens from Sudan
The Issue
We now enter the second week of fighting between the SAF and RSF in Khartoum, Sudan. There have been hundreds killed and thousands injured. Thousands of people are stuck in their homes with limited or no food, water, or power with no safe way out of the violence. Communication with loved ones is becoming increasingly difficult with country wide Internet blackouts.
Recent media reports have hailed the safe evacuation of diplomats and their families, including UK. Who will spare a thought for the civilians, foreign and national on the ground with little to no hope of salvation left?
We call for immediate commitment from the British Government to evacuate UK citizens from Khartoum. There are hundreds of UK civilians, including women and children stranded with no hope. Please support this petition to Rishi Sunak and James Cleverly to make a commitment to support our loved ones and bring them home safely to UK soil.
