Mumbai : a dog was brutally beaten up and tortured for seeking shelter from the rain inside a worli based building- turf view ( close to Nehru planetarium)  on 24 July and is currently battling for his life . He was beaten to a pulp by the watchman of the society on the orders of a resident ... Mr. Bhatia . 

An FIR was filed by an animal right activist group which took around 8 hrs. However , when the accused people were summoned , they were released after just 20 mins . 

When TOI contacted the worli police station on Sunday , an official stated ‘ FIR was lodged under IPC sections 429 and 34 along with the prevention of cruelty to animals act , 1960 . Further inquiry is being carried out by investigating officer PSI amit shinde’ . 

The comatose dog is still in a critical condition and no action has been taken against the criminals . Pls sign the petition to bring justice and arrest the offenders . Thank u .
