Kill Colorado HB 16-1320 protect the public's right to alternative health care

Kill Colorado HB 16-1320 protect the public's right to alternative health care
The Issue
Dear Governor Hickenlooper,
Please Veto HB 16-1320.
This bill should not be enacted into law. I adamantly oppose HB16-1320. Even with amendments, the language in HB16-1320 remains harmful to alternative practices.
This bill does not add remedies against Human Traffickers, it adds regulatory power to DORA over practices that are well defined and protected in the Colorado Natural Health Consumer Protections ACT (6-1-724).
Language put into this bill by DORA allows for unconstitutional warrantless searches.
It allows DORA to arbitrarily regulate entire professions, based on the actions of a single individual, and regulate those professions without involvement from the affected stakeholders.
This bill does more harm than good to the laws of Colorado and should be killed.
It will affect 1000's of people and their access to alternative care adversely within the state of Colorado, and it will adversely affect the livelihood of alternative health care providers in Colorado.
Please do not sign HB16-1320.
This bill should not be enacted into law.
