If you have time, write a letter!

Here is an example of what you can email, message via Facebook or post. 

Dear Mr Steve Cain, 

I am writing to you about the current promotion you are running.

It is really disappointing to see more cheap plastic toys being placed into the environment which you know many  people will snap up one because they are free and two because they will cave into the pressure from their children.

We do not need these toys. We do not need collectables. All they will do is end up in landfill in a couple of months when we see they have broken or are just dust collectors.

It does not matter that the packaging is recyclable - how many of your customers really save the packaging and bring it back into store?

And the toys are not recyclable. 

There are so many other ways to get customers into your stores and I am sure the people who create these campaigns can be more creative rather than just revert to plastic giveaways.

I urge you, for the sake of the environment to cut the campaign short and consider a better one that will not place more pressure on our fragile natural world.

There are so many other people who agree with this and I am sure you have heard so it would be great to see you take some action.
