The central government introduced BH series registration for vehicles on a voluntary basis for Central Government employees, state government employees and private company employees with offices in more than 4 states on 15th August 2021.

This is a citizen centric initiative but we've seen like warm response from Government of Karnataka in implementing this.

Around 18 states and UTs have implemented this in India but Karnataka and others are yet to even release their plan.
