Recently the WAFC has made a decision to move all Peel District junior and youth footy from a Saturday to a Sunday competition. This decision seems to have been made with little to no consultation with clubs, players and volunteers. 

It places junior and youth footy in direct competition with other sports (such as soccer and rugby), and as a result will mean that many young players will need to make a decision between sports. Ultimately, this will mean less participation in community sport and less volunteer capacity. 

At a team level, initial indications are that teams stand to lose up to 30% of players. 

WAFC PLEASE HEAR US- REVERSE YOUR DECISION. WE DON’T WANT JUNIOR FOOTY MOVED TO SUNDAY IN OUR LEAGUE!
