The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has repeatedly fined this facility for numerous violations.  Despite the fines and warnings, seniors residing at Whitefish Care and Rehab now Mountain View Rehab continue to have violations in 2025.  This facility is failing the most vulnerable members of our community, those who deserve respect, care, and dignity in their later years.

The situation demands urgent attention. Reports on websites like ProPublica and news reports highlight the harsh reality.

 By holding Whitefish Care and Rehab/Mountain View accountable , we can prevent further neglect and ensure that the elderly in the Flathead Valley receive the quality of care they need and deserve even if that means moving them into a different area. I urge you to stand with our seniors in demanding accountability and justice for the seniors who have suffered unnecessarily.
