Very recently, devastating tornadoes rolled through many parts of Tennessee. One county majorly affected by the tornadoes was sumner county, home to many areas that were majorly damaged. Multiple neighborhoods are missing power and even portions of their homes. I beg sumner county to close their schools just for a few more days. Communities are trying their hardest to clean up and help out each other, and they would greatly benefit by having a few extra days to provide for the people who so desperately need it. All I ask is to reconsider for the people who are in a time of need. One idea is to close the schools for the remainder of this week and serve as an emergency shelter for the families that need it more than anything else right now.
