The Lakewood Heights Neighborhood Associate is sponsoring our annual Velasco Ave spring picnic for residents in the 6100-6300 blocks. We rarely get the chance to come together as a whole neighborhood and that's why I propose we close down our street for a neighborhood block party on May 11, 2024 from 2:30-6:00 PM.

The front yard picnic party are not just fun; they are beneficial too. Such events can significantly improve neighborhood relationships and overall community spirit.

Closing down our street for this event would provide an opportunity for all residents - established and new, young and old - to come together for some good fun!
