The Issue

In 2023, Chi-Kei Rick Chow, Alice Chow, and Andy Chow chased and gunned down a 14-year old child named Cyrus Carmack-Belton in cold blood.  A few days ago during the criminal trial, the jury acquitted the murderer, but they were not allowed to know the full story. This family has a history of opening fire on people they merely suspect of crimes and have yet to be held accountable. This family acted as judge, jury, and executioner and ultimately it claimed the life of a child in our Columbia, SC community.

We have the opportunity to revoke the business license of this gas station that is still publicly owned by a member of the Chow family, Kenneth Chow. They have proven to be a danger to the community of which they choose to “serve”. There is no amount of property that is worth the life of anyone, let alone a child.  The family was robbed of justice when the District 5 Solicitor failed to provide lesser included charges for the jury to deliberate. He gave that man a get out of jail free card.

The demand is simple: revoke all licensure relating to the ownership and operation of the Shell Gas Station located at 7441 Parklane Rd Columbia, SC 29223 and bar the Chow family from being allowed to operate in the state of South Carolina. If the Business Administration doesn’t, the Columbia City Police Chief can also declare the business a nuisance and shut it down.

This is far from the first petition to come out, as we should also push for criminal proceedings against his wife, Alice who stalked and profiled Cyrus before she and her son, Andy Chow, chased him over a football field’s length over a suspected $1 water bottle.

it is time for the Columbia community to prove they care about children and black communities. Tell the city to SHUT DOWN THE CHOW KILLER GAS STATION!!!!!
