As someone who cherishes the scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, it breaks my heart to see the relentless spread of kudzu devouring this beautiful landscape. Known as "the vine that ate the South," kudzu is an invasive species that smothers trees, shrubs, and entire ecosystems. This menacing plant spreads rapidly, suffocating native flora, killing trees from their roots, and altering the landscape we love and depend on.

For those of us who hold fond memories of the Parkway, from family picnics beneath ancient oaks to the breathtaking views that stretch for miles, it's time we rally together to reclaim and preserve this cherished land from kudzu's grip. The Parkway's beauty supports not only our enjoyment and relaxation but also contributes to tourism and the local economy, making its preservation all the more crucial.

The ecological damage caused by kudzu is profound. It impacts biological diversity by eliminating native plant species and disrupts local wildlife habitats. This is what we want to clean up the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Along with wanting MORE Future State & Federal Funding for Blue Ridge Parkway.

We hope to put pressure on Governor Josh Stein, United States Department of interior, Congress and even Donald J. Trump to stop under funding our National Parks & The Beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway we all love!

We also will encourage donations to Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation or any philanthropy organization that would benefit aid to our cause.
