30 Programs are being cut from Algonquin College without student or faculty consultation. Brulé (President of the College) and Beauchamp (Sr. VP Academic) have proven time and time again that they are eager to put student's futures and careers on the chopping block in the name of the bottom line. 

The mission of the College is "To transform hopes and dreams into lifelong success" by cutting these programs and closing the Perth campus, they have unambiguously failed to uphold this mission.

In addition, CAL staff are being let go, and workloads on the remaining CAL staff are becoming unmanageable. The blatant disrespect towards disabled students again underlines their failure to uphold their mission. 

That is why WE THE UNDERSIGNED:

Demand the resignation of Claude Brulé and Julie Beauchamp from their roles from Algonquin College, effective immediately.

Demand the restitution of all 30 Programs selfishly cut from Algonquin College.

Demand disabled students have access to the support and resources they need.

Demand that the next President and Sr. VP Academic be hired in consultation with Student Leaders and OPSEU Locals 415/416

Demand the Ontario government increase funding to public college across the Province
