I am writing because I have created a petition,
that calls for State and Federal lawmakers to

Create a law that requires the reconstruction of school classrooms to make them safer as well as easier for students and faculty to easily exit the building during a school shooting or any potentially deadly situation, I ask that you help me spread the word.

This should be a state and federal law for any learning facility within the United States Of America. We are asking law makers to pass the law swiftly as the need is dire.

This petition is for the state and federal lawmakers to pass a law requiring 
Change to  the way classrooms are built and to reconstruct existing classrooms to provide a safe exit for children,students and faculty during the threat of a school shooting

This petition is for the state and federal lawmakers to pass a law requiring that Each classroom  have:

1.A reinforced crawl space that exits either into a locked basement within the school or lead to a safe and secured area outside of the school

There was no way out!  One of the children of the Georgia shooting  said  the only thing they could do was to crouch down in the corner  of the classroom,while a teacher covered a window. WHAT! There was no way out! Most classrooms only have one exit.

2. Doors on all classrooms that lock from the inside, so when a lock down is called these classrooms can actually be (Locked Down)

 If they can't get out than no one else should be able to get in.

3.Desks that could be bolted to the floor and in the event of an emergency have the ability to turn into a bullet proof type box where a child can  crouch down underneath and close the door, Or a long table at a back wall  that can house children underneath the same as an individual desk would.

    You can't shoot what you can't find! And the children need to feel safe.

A father and son created a bullet proof desk, so it can be done!

A lot of people believe stricter gun laws are the answer.

Why stricter gun laws will be ineffective

1. You are putting the responsibility of the safety of our children into the hands of the perpetrator,we are saying okay now there's another gun law and we expect you the perpetrator to do the right thing and abide by the law.

2. Almost all of the school shooters got the guns from their parents, (The Guns In The Home Not Being Locked Up.) or given to the child.

3. It would be considered a game by the sociopaths targeting our kids, Think about it, it's already a game the moment  the thought of it entered their mind.

I'm unsure of how tougher gun laws are gonna help.

  The  fact is a sociopath  is going to find a way!

It's up to us to protect our children and the classrooms the  children are in.

The police can decide whether or not he/she broke a gun law. We need to make sure our children are safe and have a way out of the building and into a safe space.

The reconstruction of the school classroom 
 is not only a much needed security measure for an immediate threat but also serves as a deterrent for future assaults .

So far there have been 12 mass school shootings since 1999, fatalities can be prevented, please help spread the message
