As a soon-to-be senior at our high school, I want to paint my own parking spot before I graduate and the new school is built. This tradition not only allows seniors to express their creativity but also fosters a sense of community and pride among students. Not only this but it provides seniors with exclusive close proximity access to the school. Many schools across the country and locally have successfully implemented this practice, leading to increased student engagement and school spirit. This could be free for all seniors or could be used as a revenue generator for our school, with an increased parking fee for those who want to participate. Let's make this happen for the LD Bell class of 2025! Please sign this petition to show your support for allowing designated/ painted senior parking spots at our high school. (If school leaders want a more consistent look, they could designate specific colors to be used as some schools do - such as school colors; navy/light blue/silver/white etc)
