As some of you asked me if I had contacted EU institutions regarding what is happening in Bulgaria, I wrote a short article dedicated to 'The Rise of Modern European Dictatorships and EU Institutions' Dual Standards on Human Rights,' which you can find on my blog: https://radosvetavassileva.blog/2017/10/10/the-rise-of-modern-european-dictatorships-and-eus-dual-standards-on-human-rights/ As some of you may know, the European Commission has been quite vocal about the serious breaches of fundamental rights in Poland. By contrast, it is turning a blind eye to the abuses taking place in Bulgaria. In the article, I explain why Bulgaria is in a worse democratic shape than Poland. I also present the three types of shameful answers to letters of complaint we have received from the Commission in the past three years. Clearly, EU institutions are purposefully ignoring what is going on and are thus encouraging national governments to act with impunity. БГ. Здравейте! Благодаря искрено за подкрепата, която оказвате! Тъй като някои от чужденците, които са разписали петицията, ме попитаха дали сме сезирали европейските институции, използвах случая да напиша статия, посветена на двойните стандарти в Европейския съюз.
