A huge congratulations is in order!!
I hope by now that you have all heard the good news that the planning board voted 3-1 to recommend denial of both Arim Mountain Gateway applications to the city council. One large step closer to our goal and a resounding victory for every single petition signer, letter writer and speaker.
When we began this initiative, the common response was "what a terrible idea, it will be horrible for the town, the road cannot handle any more traffic - but what can you do?"
Thank you all for joining us in advocating for our home and for reminding everyone that our voices matter and they do have the ability to shape how our town continues to grow and evolve. The more voices, the more powerful and effective our message. You should all be incredibly proud of your efforts in this.
The applications will be heard by City Council on January 18th. We need to pack the house physically and virtually and bring this thing home!
