Hundreds of Whitefishians rallied in person and virtually to tell the
Whitefish Planning Board what we want for our town.
 
We are overwhelmed and humbled to have such amazing neighbors and business owners – it is just outstanding to see our community rally and prioritize how Whitefish grows and evolves.

The hearing on October 21st went until 11 pm and the board voted to continue the meeting at the next planning board hearing on November 18th as there were still folks in line waiting to provide public comments. At the next hearing – they will continue to accept public comments in person and virtually - to what extent though, we do not know.  We are trying to get more specific information from the city so that the community will know what to expect and how we can participate.  As soon as the city provides us clear expectations - we will share them with you all here and on our website www.whitefishdevelopment.org

Keep spreading the word and learning as much as you can about the project, our city’s Growth Policy and the Wisconsin Avenue Corridor Plan. Letters will continue to be received by the city. In the meantime we cannot wait to see you all at the next meeting on Nov 18th, so mark your calendars!!
