Tyler, TX does not offer curbside recycling for free like a lot of major cities do. This is a huge problem because it is not readily available to the public, therefore reduces the amount of trash we as a city could recycle. The City of Tyler should offer all of its citizens free curbside recycling to make it easier for it's citizens to recycle, reduce the cities carbon footprint, and help keep our beautiful city clean. In today's busy lifestyle people may not have the time to go to the recycling center, or have the money to afford to pay for the extra service. Curbside recycling should be automatically included in Tyler's utility bill. People are more likely to do what is the most convenient and what is more convenient than having the recycling bin in their own yard? We need to face the facts. We are polluting our world with easily recyclable trash. Animals from land and sea are dying from consuming our littered plastics. We live in a beautiful world and a beautiful city and I would love to keep it that way.
