Unfortunately, the Infrastructure and Environment Committee, in the absence of our local councillor Mark Grimes, voted yesterday to adopt the staff recommendation to remove all of the Dwight Avenue trees. 

However, this is not yet the end of the story. The recommendation must still be passed by Toronto City Council on 15 December before the trees can be removed. Thanks to your support and involvement, news outlets are picking up this story and more people are signing our petition.
