The City of Rockville has approved a pilot program using bow hunters to control the local deer population. Not only is this method ineffective but it is also cruel. 

There are many other humane methods such as erecting fences, installing light deflectors to warn deer of incoming traffic, mounting motion-activated flashing lights on deer-crossing signs or posts to warn motorists about the presence of deer, and constructing green bridges or wildlife crossing underpasses to enable wildlife to cross roads without having to negotiate traffic just like what state of Utah did this year
