BAD NEWS.

PAE Council voted to demolish our iconic Semaphore Waterslide at Semaphore back in March 2021 and have NO plans to ever replace it and wont say to myself or the Public what they are doing with the Land. STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN of dodgy deals, insurance companies and developers if you ask me. Forget the small family business people who just try to make a living and the loyal Public who regularly use the Park.

They tore up the lease contract with myself, padlocked the gate and fenced it off to the public and myself with no chance of entering.  DISGRACEFUL TREATMENT.

Looks like the GOOD TIMES ARE OVER at Semaphore Foreshore for our thousands of Families, Kids, Schools, Tourists and visitors each year and it will become just another ATTRACTIONLESS BEACH on the Adelaide Foreshore and we will be forced to COOK in the HOT SUMMER SUN that will be arriving very soon. You wont beat a decent waterslide at the beach for great Summer family fun!

I have noticed the bulldozers have also not taken any care in the removal and trashed the Minigolf Coarse and whole Park with their machines also, so I guess that has gone too. Roomer has it that the Council have actually SOLD the waterslide to someone who is installing it somewhere else which proves there was nothing dangerous about it as they have claimed and DONT FORGET there was NOT one major accident in 38years on the waterslide.

Thanks for signing the Petition everyone , but the Council does not choose to recognize this petition or listen to the very upset Public Opinion.

I will still keep you informed of any further decisions of the Council in regards to the site when they decide to release any information!

Clearly, Local Government Administrators are out of control and don't have to listen to the Public opinions, and I fear they have their own agender with Public Foreshore Land. This is happening too often from Councils.
