Vote NO on the Rezoning and Sale of Enright Parklet to a Private Developer

The Issue

The Mayor's Office of the City of Pittsburgh has agreed to a deal with the private developer of Penn Plaza that includes selling Enright Parklet to them. The developer intends to turn it into a retail shopping street.

Enright Parklet is one of the only public green spaces in East Liberty. It is heavily used and loved by all. It is our common ground, where children play together and adults connect. Privately held open space is no substitute for a public park. Just three years ago, the City’s open space plan called for investment in this park. If Enright Parklet can be rezoned and sold without a comprehensive master plan, then every park in the city is vulnerable.

Affordable housing for the residents of our community DOES NOT depend on the sale of this park!

Please sign on to this petition to let the Mayor, Planning Commission, and the City Council know that your park is NOT for sale.
