Tuesday evening about 30 residents of Ormond Beach came to City Hall to stand behind preserving the land of the Tomoka Oaks Golf Course. We had about 6 speakers, all asking the city to get involved with the possible purchase of the land or partial land so we can preserve some of the last beautiful green space east of 95. Please help us continue to spread the word that this is not over.
Since the coverage in the News Journal, we have received over 100 more signatures in just 24 hours. We need to keep this alive until a plan is finalized months from now.
Here's how:
Share the petition today! We would love to get to 2,000 signatures: https://www.change.org/p/city-of-ormond-beach-preserve-the-land-of-the-tomoka-oaks-golf-course
Email the commissioners and let them know your concerns or vision for how we can use this land for the community instead of just developing more and more homes:

We need to rise up together, just like we did for Defending the Loop. Thank you all!
