Dear Neighbors, An attorney has confirmed that the City of Novato violated the Brown Act laws for open government when it used misleading and inaccurate agendas on the public agendas for the solar carport. The Brown Act requires that citizens are accurately noticed with a public agenda so that we can participate in our local government. We were not given that opportunity when the agendas said the the solar carport would be placed at Hamilton Pool and instead put it in South Hamilton Park. There are too many future developments at Hamilton to allow this to happen again.
