The City of North Port is proposing expansion of the water and sewage infrastructure at homeowners cost. The current cost of said connections is estimated to be approximately $27,000 per house/connection. 

We, the taxpayers of North Port demand an immediate end to the spending for planning, consultants and any and all endeavors related to the expansion of water and sewage within the city. The current economic climate of our entire nation makes the project, its cost, and its burden on the citizens extremely unwise to pursue.

Contrary to reports quoted there is NO State of Florida Mandate to pursue this project at this time. If you do not start the project is will SAVE the tax payers who fund the city of North Port millions of dollars.

We DEMAND an immediate cease to all activity and spending related to this project.
