Hello everybody! The community meeting to discussed the future of the North Shore Open Space park is this coming Tuesday January 24, 2017 from 6-8pm on the North Shore Park Youth Center Auditorium ( 501 72nd Street, Miami Beach, FL 33141 ). This meeting was possible due to this very successful online petition and the outpouring of questions by citizens, as mentioned in the last update, the proposed design was stopped from going to the Design Review Board earlier this month. Instead, the plan will first come to residents. Everyone is encouraged to attend the meeting to ensure our tax dollars are not unnecessarily wasted and that we can keep our park naturally beautiful, with all its decades-old sea grape trees, conservation areas, natural shades, picnic shelters and exercise trails.
