We feel the responsible citizens of Manhattan Beach would like to show support not only for our local health experts and government leaders  but also state and federal leaders that initiate mandates for the good of all citizens. We feel a dangerous petition is now circulating to try to pressure leaders to open the strand. We feel this would attract large numbers of citizens that will not adhere to social distancing measures and increase the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Please sign to keep the Manhattan Beach Strand and Beach closed until deemed safe by the officials that mandated the closure.
