Justice For Jessie

The Issue

On the 6th June 2020, a young black woman named Jessie Mawutu was trampled on by a horse released by the police during the London Black Lives Matter protest.

Miss Mawutu attempted to file for a complaint, which was later denied on the basis that the police had acted accordingly given the fact that the protest had turned violent.

Jessie suffers from severe injuries and bruises whilst the police officials in charge of managing the protest remain free, well and unchallenged.

We demand that Jessie's complaint be heard, her case investigated and the methods used by the police during protest be reviewed.
