I just heard from Melanie Crowder that the time for people to speak will be at the beginning of the meeting, as it is not a public hearing. So please arrive by 7pm...or a little earlier if you can. Also, a few people who cannot attend tonight but have prepared speeches would like to have them read out loud, since asking for a statement to be read for the record is up to the mayor. If you feel comfortable reading a statement for the council to hear, please email hawaiilavarox@yahoo.com by 6pm and I will send you a statement to look over in advance.
