Whitecourt Homeless Animal Rescue Foundation was started over 10 years ago. We are 100% volunteer-run and we are a non-for-profit society that is dedicated to finding homeless, neglected, abandoned, abused, and injured animals find a loving home. We have a storefront location in Edmonton Alberta, on 124th street. We adopt many animals out of our location, and it allows us to help more animals.

The City of Edmonton has asked us to cease operation, due to zoning issues. We are appealing our case to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board. We need community support, in order to prove that we should stay in our community.

We work with many volunteers, many of which struggle with issues including; health, and mental health issues, family struggles, youth who need mentorship and so much more.

We help get animals off the streets, and we take on very serious medical and behavioural cases. Which can get quite expensive and time consuming. We also help the community, and teach people, about responsible pet ownership. And the importance of spay and neutering, and keeping up to date on vaccines.

Whitecourt Homeless Animal Rescue has been helping the community, animals, and individuals for over the 10 years. Please support us in any way possible including:
