Eastvale City Council will hear about the Chandler & Archibald Project later this week.  The project is located at the northwest corner of Chandler & Archibald.  The land is currently zoned for Low-Density (Single-Family Homes), but the city is welcoming a project that would change the land to Commercial Zoning.   This comes despite recent announcements by the city that we are very low on available land and CA mandating 3,028 housing units be built to aid the "Housing Crisis".

The project has already been heard by the Eastvale Planning Commission and comes with lots of opposition; including some from Planning Commissioners as well.  One of the main concerns is the Circle K Gas station being so close to established residential homes.  Another concern is the lack of variety in healthy food choices coming to Eastvale if McDonalds is part of the project.  Both of these establishments could potentially operate 24 hours a day and that is a BIG NO from dozens and dozens of residents that live nearby.  Added to this, is the fact that the Chandler Area is the site of much of the "opportunity land" selected by the City to potentially zone for some of our RHNA 3,028 housing units.

Please come out and be informed about this project and speak up if this concerns you.  WEDNESDAY, August 25th at 6:30 PM at City Hall.
