Despite City Staff not making genuine efforts to notify or remind residents about VERY IMPORTANT meetings regarding the Housing Element, City Hall was PACKED on Wednesday, July 21st.  More and more residents and community groups are joining the efforts to help inform their neighbors and spreading the word.

The HOUSING ELEMENT is a required and vital component of the city's General Plan.  A part of the Housing Element this year is the 6th Cycle of RHNA- Regional Housing Needs Allocation.  Every city in the state of California was allocated a housing needs number.  THE CITY OF EASTVALE WAS ALLOCATED 3,028 new housing units for the cycle between 2021-2029. 

Please attend the meeting on WEDNESDAY, JULY 28th at 6:30 PM at City Hall to learn more about where the city plans to zone for 3,000+ units in our already mostly built out city.  This affects the Sumner Place Project and other land in the city.
