Save the Creola Mobile Home Park & It's Residents

The Issue

We the residents of the Creola Mobile Home Park Located at 407 Dead Lake Road Creola, AL 36525 learned on 1/17/20 that there was a "secret meeting" and the officials decided to shut down our park. None of the Residents were in attendance. We are not 100% positive on WHO was there (We hear City Inspector and Police Chief but no one else was mentioned). Only thing we know is we have 45 days to leave when we are served with paper work (which NO ONE has as of yet).

A lot of the families that live in our park are disabled, low income, and have disabled children as well. We the residents of the Creola Mobile Home Park know our park needs WORK. Our new owner won't communicate with us, lies to people about communication with us, and then does NOTHING to better our Mobile Home Park. (HIs name is Mike Martz).

Most of us can not afford to move our trailer (some trailers would fall apart). Some of us can't move because of disabilities.

This is a call to action to not only OUR little Trailer Park but to the ENTIRE CITY OF CREOLA. Please help us. We don't want to leave. Please help us save the Creola Mobile Home Park. Most residents here are GOOD people... if this is truly "God's Country" as the Creola Motto goes, stand up for us. Help us fight against this INJUSTICE.

Fight for the less fortunate of Creola.

Please sign our petition that says you would like to see the Creola Mobile Home Park STAY PUT and the residents not be FORCE out and homeless.

Thank you all for your help and consideration.
