Concerned Parent/s 

Only the 2nd day of the school year (2021-2022) & already got a phone call from Stephen C. Foster Elem. stating that there has been a student in my sons class (Kindergarden) that is COVID-19 POSITIVE. That the class will be on quarantine till the 30th of Aug. I am so against the District re-opening their schools knowing that this will happen for the duration of the school year. I guarantee this wouldn’t be the last time the school calls me to inform me that theres another case of COVID-19. It’s ridiculous that parents will still send their child to school KNOWING that they’re sick, lie on the Daily Health Screening & endanger other students/staff. 

I have other small children so the whole household would have to quarantine. Parents asked “I have older kids that are in 2nd, 3rd 4th& 5 grade what do we do?” School said “They can still come to school, only ones are quarantined are Kindergarten class. 
So what are the CDC measures that the schools are taking to keep our kids safe if this happened on the 2nd day of school!
