Save Our Local Businesses

The Issue

As many of you know, 405 College Ave is in the works to be torn down and replaced with another student housing complex. Currently, 405 College Ave is home to 9 businesses.

7/9 businesses in our complex are owned by local residents. Sadly, renting available space in downtown Clemson is very expensive. Clemson has been over-run with new housing complexes and many vacant retail spaces. Our small businesses desperately want to continue doing business in Clemson, but we need a change!

By signing this petition, you are in agreement that Clemson needs to focus more on the lives and opinions of people that live here and not the over glorified plans of big corporations and their bigger pockets. The City of Clemson needs to show a little bit more love towards the little guys.
