STOP THE BRENTWOOD HIGH DENSITY RE-ZONE

STOP THE BRENTWOOD HIGH DENSITY RE-ZONE
The Issue
A proposed development has been submitted to rezone single family build lot to ultra-high density, multifamily apartments and micro lot homes in YOUR neighborhood. Eden Housing has an active development and rezone application in for the Planning Commission consideration to change the lot at Lone Tree Way and O'Hara Avenue to R-RVH High Density Housing zoning from the current zoning RL (Residential Low Density (RL).
We MUST tell our city officials and representative NO! They may not change our zoning from the current zoning to ultra-high density.
FIGHT BACK TO PROTECT AGAINST:
- 50% parking allotment due to ultra-low-income loophole (AB 2345)- Apartment parking overflow onto neighborhood streets
- Increased traffic on already impacted 2 lane streets - Overwhelming the in-development K-8 School site
- City of Brentwood Master Plan Breach of Contract
How you can help:
-Sign the petition, send a clear message to the city
-Join an action committee (we need your help!)
- Spread the word: social media, word of mouth
Residential Very High Density (RVH). This Zone is intended to provide areas for very high‐density multi‐family development and is primarily intended for apartments and/or condominiums in mixed‐use/employment areas or areas that are in close proximity to services and facilities that serve very high‐density uses. This Zone also provides for public and quasi‐public uses, and similar and compatible uses that may be appropriate in a very high‐density residential environment. The permitted density range is 35.1 to 50.0 units per acre and implements the Residential Very High-Density General Plan Land Use Designation.
(Residential Low Density (RL)This Zone is intended to provide for residential development and other compatible uses in a low-density residential neighborhood setting with a variety of lot sizes. The permitted density range is 1.1 to 5.0 units per acre. This Zone implements the Residential Low Density General Plan Land Use Designation).
