Stop property rezoning of 14.15 acres of property adjacent to Overlook for development of tiny-home (500 square feet) cottages.  The proposed density would be 7.56 units per acre, or 28 homes, and 79 cottages.  We believe this community will create significant traffic concerns on College Street, devalue homes in The Overlook, and add further burden to insufficient utilities and area drainage.  We have requested permission to address our concerns at a Planning Committee meeting Tuesday, September 1, 2020, and to present this petition signed by concerned citizens and property owners of Blue Ridge to deny this rezoning petition.  Please sign the petition by Friday, August 28 to preserve our great community, develop properties sensibly to protect adjacent property values, and in a way the ensure steady property tax revenue streams for future infrastructure growth.  Thank you, Dana Hunt, danaghunt@gmail.com.  Link to the zoning requestion: Link to developer's zoning request
