HOMELESS CAMPING ORDINANCE UPDATE
Dear Save Austin Now supporter -
We have just 35 days left if we want to put reinstatement of the camping ban on the May 2021 ballot.
As we told you last week, we launched a brand new effort to collect 30,000+ petitions to reinstate the camping ban. To be certified by the city, we must submit by Jan. 12.
We have collected 1,500+ signed petitions already and we have just 35 days to go.
Only Austin residents who are registered voters can sign. Anyone who signed during our last effort MUST SIGN AGAIN.
TWO WAYS YOU CAN SIGN
> Download the petition here (download the file, print it, fill it out legibly, and mail it back). If you would like the petition to be emailed to you as a pdf, please email matt@saveaustinnow.com.
> Request a petition be mailed to you here.
TWO WAYS TO HELP: VOLUNTEERS & DONATIONS
> Would you please sign up for a volunteer shift to collect signatures here?
In order for us to be successful, we need to mail 300,000+ households a copy of the petition. This will cost $150,000. We need your help today.
Please consider donating to our efforts now.
There are two ways to give:
> You can securely donate here.
> You can make a check to "Save Austin Now" and mail it to 807 Brazos St., Ste. 408, Austin, TX 78701.
We are going to win this fight for our city!
Thank you!
