HOMELESS CAMPING ORDINANCE UPDATE

Dear fellow Austinite -

We have just two days left to surpass the 20,000 signed petitions threshold that we must hit to qualify for the November ballot.

We need JUST 1,000 MORE SIGNED PETITIONS.

HAVE SIGNED PETITIONS?

If you have signed petitions in your possession, you can:

 > Drop them off at this specific downtown UPS Store (815A Brazos Street) and they will put in our box. Their hours are:
     SATURDAY 10a-1p
     SUNDAY CLOSED
     MONDAY Drop of from 10a-12p (we will turn in to the city after 12p).
 > Please don't mail, it's too late now.
 > If you need to arrange a pick up, email matt@saveaustinnow.com and we will come pick them up (include address and cell).

MORE HELP NEEDED

We must keep collecting signed petitions through Sunday.

If you can give us a two hour shift, please click here and tell us when you can work and where and we will get you set up.

PAID CANVASSERS

We have a few remaining slots for paid canvassers that can work at least five hours a day any time between now and Sunday. If this interests you, email logan@potomacstrategygroup.com and include your cell phone number.

P.S. The petition is available here for download if you wish to collect signatures from friends, family and neighbors who live in Austin. You will need to bring to the UPS store by 1pm Saturday or email matt@saveaustinnow.com by noon on Sunday to arrange collection.
