As the headline from 2017 shows, Stovall Park has been a hotbed for criminal activity for some time now. And now, crime in the southern sections of Arlington appears to be increasing. Due to the recent spate of gunshots being reported, we the residents of Southwest Arlington request Stovall Park to be closed at sundown every night for the foreseeable future. Since the area is becoming more and more unsafe, there is no reason for the park to be open after dark. A proactive approach will hopefully prevent a tragedy from occurring. Please close the park before someone is killed!
