Pass march intake Vet Nurses!

The Issue

A large intake of very hard working student Vet nurses were due to take on final exams as from this week onwards, with short notice due to the unfortunate covid-19 these have been cancelled, putting dedicated student vet nurses pay rises on hold, new career prospects on hold, so much uncertainty in an environment that is already sky high with anxiety and as a generally poorly paid profession that is always struggling to sustain qualified vet nurses this is a chance for City and Guilds and the RCVS to do the right thing, just like they are putting into place for Vet students.

Animals and practices are crying out for qualified nurses and the financial pressure of being a vet nurse in general is not rewarding at all, just one small change here would relieve some very heightened emotions at this time.
