1. Did you know the feds can use the word CONSPIRACY and charge you with anything they want...  They dont have to have any tangable evedince, you dont have to be caught with drugs, weapons or buying and selling drugs or ANYTHING for that matter.  All it takes is a couple of addicts to say you did so you did.  For instance my son 38 yrs old, ex law inforcement, two children no history of drugs, no felonies nothing. Arrest him seize his home and all they found was a pipe in the house not on him, no drugs on him. Took him to jail while still searching his home told the booking officers they would get back with them on what to charge him with.  Held him on $100,000.00 bond. The receipt they left with a girl that was at his house had no drugs found in the main house only some in the rental, nothing on my son and $260.00 cash.  The couple took responsibility for their drugs. Then a few weeks later the feds arrest my son on conspiracy charges with the intent to posses and distribute. Still no drugs found on him. Because two ex girlfriends and one of their boyfriend says they saw my son buy drugs for someone else. He now faces LIFE IN FEDERAL PRISON.  FOR CONSPIRACY WITH THE INTENT TO POSSES AND DISTRIBUTE METH.   First offense, no previous felonies or drug charges, no violence, no drugs or weapons found on him ever. All of these people that are being charged also, have prior drug charges, felonies, kidnapping, organized crime, etc and they took a plea for 0 to 20. Most have been to prison multiple times.
2. If this can happen to us it can happen to you. The Feds can and will do whatever it takes to make their case.  The court appointed attorney is a bankruptcy lawyer, their holding back alleged evidence until the last minute not giving him adequate time to go over it or to hire a qualified lawyer.  They turn a innocent ride to the casno into an all out drug deal; just because someone said it was.  No drugs, no money no proof except someone said thats what it was. 

I'm not saying my son hasnt made bad choices, nor am I saying he shouldn't be punished for it. What I am saying is why does he get the same punishment as the people that did get get caught with the drugs and have prior convictions?  HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE FEDS TO CHARGE HIM WITH THE SAME AMOUNT THE ONES THAT ACTUALLY GOT CAUGHT WITH???       He has already lost his home ( that he worked a job and paid for ) still paying a state attorney and $100,000.00 bond and had to move his son who has gone to the Bowie schools his whole life to another town to finish high school ( SENIOR YEAR ).  My Son Roy Mead is a good man, a good Father and Son.  He will give his last dime to help someone out. He is loyal to a fault.  When his marriage fell apart he couldn't get past it.  When a person loses his self worth and cant provide for his family, you feel like your dieing inside you just don't think.  Instead you just do what you can to try to get thru it. Before 2017 my Son had nothing to do with any of these people or drugs. He worked in the oil field, he was a police officer for Hood County and he was a hunting guide for years.

When did the Federal Government get to bend, twist and turn our rights as UNITED STATES CITIZENS to WHATEVER THEY NEED TO MAKE A CASE? 

The Feds have way to much control and leverage on OUR JUDICIAL SYSTEM. This has to change.  This is real life, TRUE STORY happening to my Son and family. Meaning it can happen to you and is happening to others.  Mainly people like us who dont have the means to fight back.

Consider this if my son was this big time DISTRIBUTOR... WOULDN'T HE HAVE MONEY, ASSETS something?  All he had is $260.00 and a house he paid off several years ago that he has been buying for years. That of course was seized. They left him and his children homeless, humiliated and facing a life sentence.  He didn't kill or hurt anyone. Child molesters, rapists and murderers get less prosecution than he is getting. At his Detention Hearing the court room was full of his family and friends. Some had to stand in the hall.  Who takes off work from their jobs to be a character witness for a low life drug distributor? NO ONE.   These are people That's known him his whole life and know that the Fed's are making Roy out to be something he isn't.  

Please help us get our rights back. Show our children the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND THEY HAVE TO STAY WITHIN THE LAW LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DOES.  Our children have to know they have a fair and just system to grow into.
